Unicef Trick or Treat 2011

Bluff View wants to "Educate and Empower Students to Support Their Peers Around the World" so we have kicked off another Unicef Trick or Treat for the month of October. We are asking each of our students to help raise money for kids around the world. Once the money is collected, we will place it in the dedicated container located in our lobby and at the end of the month we will send it to Unicef to help save kids lives.

What Your Money Can Buy

• $69 buys 10,000 tablets to purify water for kids to drink
• $120 can immunize 7 children against six killer diseases 
• $300 can provide enough packets of therapeutic nut spread to feed 200 malnourished children a day

"Buzzzzz" go the Cubs!

Do you ever walk down the hall and see what other classrooms are up to? This week the Cubs had some fun buzzing around and Mrs. Lopez posted their cute pictures outside their room. Check them out:

BV Spotlight: Mrs. Neyman

Crystal Neyman, Bluff View's Kindergarten teacher, has been with us since we opened our doors in 2007. Mrs. Neyman received her Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies from Fresno State. She is the middle child of 7 kids. She loves to scrapbook, shop and visit Disneyland often with her husband of 2 years. She enjoys baking and cooking anything and everything (except seafood!).

Bluff View loves Mrs. Neyman because...

Mrs. Neyman loves teaching and coming up with fun and exciting ways to educate her students; she truly enjoys working with her kids. Mrs. Neyman is devoted to teaching her students new skills to make them lifelong successful learners.

Mrs. Neyman is funny and sweet. She always has a friendly smile and she is a great friend. She loves Scotch Kiss from See's Candies. She enjoys fine wine and supports her husband as he studies the art of viticulture. Her hair always looks beautiful and she consistently works out to keep herself looking fabulous.

When you see  Mrs. Neyman around our school, be sure to give her a great big Hello!

Halloween 2010

Halloween is quickly approaching! We're excited for all of the fun activities Autumn brings us. On Monday, October 31st and Tuesday, November 1st we'll be dressing up for parties, a parade and a special concert with Oklin Bloodworth. You won't want to miss this fun event!

Alumni Visitor

We had a special visit from a BV Alumni who is now in the second grade (where does the time go?!). Austin begin attending Bluff View when we first opened our doors in 2007. Check out the beautiful creation he built in BV's Penny Lane and had to share with Mrs. T.

 



Fall 2011 Picture Days

Today is the first day of Fall Picture Days at Bluff View! Parents, be sure to watch for an email with information on how to order your child's beautiful school portraits from JA Photography. Every child will have their picture taken.
